Hurricane Milton caused significant damage to Mirada Lagoon; and, while emergency repair and cleanup efforts are making progress, the water and activities remain temporarily closed. We’re using this time to enhance the Lagoon, including tiling the Cabana Cove pool and installing a new screen at The Hub while continuing with weekly events with select food trucks. View our upcoming events at Mirada Lagoon.
We’ll provide updates on our progress and invite Resident Members to enjoy your free benefits at Epperson Lagoon during this closure.
We understand the inconvenience this emergency has caused and want to assure you that our teams and contractors are working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible in order to reopen all water activities. While the Club Plan allows for a full emergency closure, we are pleased to offer select opening days so that you can continue enjoying the non-water activities and amenities at the lagoon. These include weekly events and entertainment, providing opportunities to make the most of your membership during this time. In line with the Club Plan, this emergency closure and limited opening will not affect your Club Plan fee schedule.

With the water drained, work on the Cabana Cove pool is officially underway! While our contractor prepares the pool surface for tiling, our team continues to focus on sediment removal, a task made easier with the reduced water volume.
This week, we have an exciting lineup of events:

We have deployed additional measures and methods to remove the sediment. This process has been labor-intensive, and we regret that it has taken longer than anticipated to fully resolve the issue.
To expedite progress, we will be draining additional water from the lagoon to improve the efficiency of our removal efforts. While this will result in an extended closure, we are thrilled to announce several exciting improvements that will enhance your lagoon experience upon its reopening:
